Li Xi

To our dear family and friends,

We have received a number of enquiries about what we would like as our wedding gift.  We're really thankful for everyone's generosity, however, we have been very blessed and truly do not need much in the way of material things.  If you would like to contribute towards our new life in London next year, we would greatly appreciate 'li xi' or a cash gift in keeping with Chinese wedding traditions.  There will be a wishing well available at the reception for you to drop off any gifts.

Please do not feel that this is compulsory; your attendance on our special day is more than enough.

We look forward to celebrating with you,

Nebbitt & Supernerd

Food, Glorious Food!

If you have any food allergies (e.g. nuts, gluten, seafood) or dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian), please email us before 7 November so that your requests can be catered for.

Jerrold has already advised Doltone House of his special dietary requirement and has been reassured that there will be seafood (at least on the bridal table).

Be assured that we have a sumptuous menu for you to enjoy with us!

Getting to the big day

Hello guests,

Only 48 days until the big day!  To ensure all our guests arrive on time, relaxed, and not run into the bride during the big entrance, please read the following details.

Directions to St Thomas' Anglican Church
St Thomas' Anglican Church is located on the corner of McLaren Street and Church Street, North Sydney.  Please do not confuse it with the grand St Mary's Church on Miller Street two blocks away!

We recommend driving instead of public transport when making your way to St Thomas, as transport services will be infrequent.

Option 1: Church grounds
There is parking on the church grounds, which is accessible from McLaren Street (see map below), as well as some council parking also accessible from McLaren Street.  Please note that there will be a Sunday service immediately prior to our wedding ceremony, so parking spaces may be limited.

Option 2: On the streets
Alternatively, there is also ample street parking on McLaren and Ridge Streets around the church.

Directions to Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf, Pyrmont
Doltone House is located at the Upper Deck of 26-32 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont.  Please take the lifts up to the Upper Deck.  The reception will be held in the North Pier, just before the far end of the wharf.

Please be aware that this is different to the Darling Island Wharf location, which is across from Star City Casino, one block away.

The better parking option:
There is a Wilson Parking Station on Pirrama Road directly opposite Jones Bay Wharf with plenty of car spaces.

The 'I need exercise' options:
If you long for a romantic stroll in heels, there is another parking station further up the road at Star City Casino, and an even further one at Harbourside.

The 'I feel lucky' option:
There is limited street parking along Pirrama Road, at Pyrmont Park and at Jones Bay Wharf.

Welcome!

Hi everyone!

Thank you to all of you joining us at our wedding on 21 November.  Over the next few weeks, we will be using this blog to answer common questions we may get from you, as well as provide additional information about the celebrations.  We will let you know whenever we have any new posts, and of course you can always come back if you forget something.

We also placed links to our venues and our wonderful helpers for the wedding.  We will also update these as the list grows (and it will!), so feel free to visit the links and check out all their great work.

We're very excited to be celebrating with you!

Take care,

Jed and Amy
